Sunday dawned with clouds and threatning
weather. To avoid soaked gear and the threat of lightning in the
building thunderstorms, we reluctantly cut our stay short and
packed up to leave.
Gary and Mike inspect the "keepers" from the weekend's
catch.
After everything is rigged down and stowed away, Walter and
Nancy police the campsite for small bits of trash. As always, we
try to leave the site cleaner than we found it.
It was good to camp in the Hill Country
again and we look forward to next year. We hope to see you all at
Fall Rendezvous in the piney woods. Keep you fingers crossed and
maybe we'll have some cool weather in November to make our campfire
and sleeping bags feel good.
