A very quick and simple "hamburger helper" type recipe that our
immediate family has used for over fifty years. It is believed to
have originated from members of our extended family who would
prepare it when traveling or camping.
Served over a slice of bread on a plate, this will take the kinks out of your belly and stick to your ribs.
Use as a base and add other ingredients to enhance the dish. Mom likes to add tomato sauce; brother Bruce dumps in a can of pork and beans. The possibilities are many.
