Well, I was just kidding.
To be sure, it's common knowledge among
family and friends that dining at Gary's table can be a culinary
adventure of uncertainty. It's said that his reputation for the
acquisition and use of exotic meats is incentive for the
neighbors to keep all of their pets on short leashes. And while at times
dinner guests may have justifiably eyed plates of food or steaming
bowls of "chicken" and dumplings with suspicion, at serving skunk
he would draw the line ............... I think.
At any rate, when sampling Gary's cooking, a person might do well
to adopt a philosophy dictating that if it tastes good, it's best
to just eat and ask no questions. |
